We don’t just accept dogs we welcome them with open arms!Solva Holiday Cottages are proud to be dog friendly and want to encourage you to bring your pooch on holiday with you! Don’t worry, there is no extra hidden charge for your dog, we allow 2 automatically and if you have 3 please just ask. We haven’t said no yet.
Secure Gardens
Our cottages have secure gardens, Y Bwlch and Harmon Vale are the best choices for larger or adventurous dogs as they have high fences making them even more secure!
Walks from the Door
The stunning and spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path and many local foot paths including the safe and enclosed St Davids Disused Airfield are all close by.
Local Dog Friendly Beach
All our cottages are just minutes walk from Solva Beach which is dog friendly all year round.
Dog Holiday Essentials Provided
We provide dog bowls for you to use during your stay, there are spare leads in case you forget yours, an outside tap to hose off dirty paws and in Harmon Vale there is a warm shower outside making the job even better! There are doggy towels for you to use and some spare bags for the unpleasant job of dog walking!
Dog Friendly Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire is working hard to provide more facilities to make visiting with the whole family including the 4 legged members an absolute pleasure. Dog Friendly Pembrokeshire Tourism is a local initiative working hard to achieve this goal. We see every day how much Buddy our Collie loves it here in Solva and we don’t want to be selfish! We want your Buddy’s, Jack’s, Finn’s, Daisy’s, Martha’s (the list goes on) to enjoy the same.
